Our Mission
"Our mission is to offer inclusive support and resources for all individuals affected by pregnancy and infant loss, with a particular focus on addressing the unique needs and experiences of Black and Brown communities. Through culturally sensitive programs, advocacy, and education, we strive to create a safe and supportive space where Black and Brown families can find solace, understanding, and empowerment. Together, we honor the lives of our precious babies gone too soon, fostering healing, resilience, and equity in the face of profound loss."
Our Goal
Far too many families suffer alone and in silence. Our Goal is to Break the Silence, Give Support and Education to all we come in contact with and we're believing it will become contagious.

Meet Our Founder:
Hello! My name is La'Kendra Johnson. I Am the proud Founder of this wonderful organization. I'm married to my darling husband Kurt Johnson Jr. and we are the loving parents of 8 children... 4 live and 4 babies in heaven. We've had 3 Miscarriges and 1 Stillbirth in which turned our world upside down. Even though we were surrounded by friends and family, I've never felt so isolated. I didn't know anyone who've had a pregnancy loss nor an infant loss. No one could answer my questions or help me from an "experienced" point of view. After doing research, I discovered that 1 in 4 Women will experience a pregnancy and/or Infant Loss. So it's not that I didn't know anyone who've experienced it, no one was talking about it.
Too Precious for this World was birthed from the burning desire to be "what I needed" in my moments of bereavement. A person to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, assistance with funeral arrangements, etc..
Through the years we've met, helped and formed a bond with countless families. My heart is overjoyed to know I helped a family get through one of the most toughest times in their lives. After a consultation, they leave with a better understanding of the process and support on the road of healing.
